I am Gopakumar PS, with a track record spanning 14 years in the media production and film industry. I am both a creative and technical founder, boasting a diverse educational background in Electronics and Communications Engineering, as well as Broadcasting Technology and Cinematography.

Since a young age, I've nurtured a strong desire to launch my own local cable TV channel. This dream materialized when I successfully established Janapriyam Media in 2013. Registered under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in India, Janapriyam comprises a TV channel, website, newspaper, and magazine. While Janapriyam serves as a general information and entertainment outlet, my focus sharpened with the launch of Pravasi Vision. As the name implies, Pravasi Vision targets Kerala's large diaspora population through its online channel, website, and magazine. The latest addition, Doctor Live, stands as the first 24/7 live broadcasting healthcare channel in Kerala. Doctor Live is registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India, since 2021, and is recognized by DPIIT under Startup India.

Since 2013, all my media firms and companies have been registered under the Government of India. In 2017, I acquired a Multi-System Operator License issued by the Central Government's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, enabling me to launch an MSO. An MSO (Multi Service Operator) is a cable television service operator. It operates multiple cables and direct broadcast satellite television systems – providing the customer with many television channels. 

As a journalist and news anchor, I excel in conducting thorough investigations and possess a keen instinct for uncovering the truth. I take pride in being a member of the Google News Initiative's Asia-Pacific chapter. My commitment to self-improvement is demonstrated through my adeptness in leveraging various social media platforms to enhance audience engagement. Additionally, I have extensive experience as a cinematographer and independent filmmaker, coupled with a strong passion for photography. Furthermore, I am a registered member of the All Kerala Photographers Association (AKPA). 

My technical skills shine through in the fact that I have independently built my own IPTV and OTT platform. Moreover, I possess the capability to provide broadcasting equipment and services, including channel streaming services, to third parties. Beyond my expertise in media-related technology, I also serve as the de-facto product manager for Doctor Live's telemedicine apps, as well as the company's software-as-a-service modules. I firmly believe in the power of product-led growth.
